Stomach Hurts After Eating

Give us this day our daily bread today

16 churches in Latin America and the Caribbean are at the preparatory conference in Bogotá, Colombia together.
The theme: "Give us this day our daily bread".
bread is also the focus of the opening worship. It is amazing how the church leaders from across the continent to bring its various kinds of bread to the altar. From Central America and the Andean countries is corn bread. In the other churches dominated the white bread, but it has different forms. The representatives of the churches are for the most part no more European descendants. The Evangelical Lutheran churches in Latin America and the Caribbean have become more colorful. The influences indigenous peoples and African Americans are clearly noticeable in the churches of Central America, Bolivia, Peru, Colombia, Surinam and Guinea.

The conference theme is characterized by the logo.

The simple design of the logo combines two elements in a graphic. The drawn with one stroke of the pen, green bud symbolizes life and growth, the Creator God bestows, and is an indication of the kingdom of God, which grows and spreads.
The petition for "daily bread" is a reminder that all people have the same basic needs and that all are called to allow all people to live in dignity.
The cross in the middle to make it clear that the crucified Jesus Christ the Lord is the Church. The slightly upward curved shape of the cross, to clarify that the cross is a living thing, which is the hope of the resurrection of Christians symbolically.
